Education

The importance of Education is accepted everywhere in the world, infect it is accepted as a Child's Right. And so, we also are walking in the same footsteps. We consciously make different efforts to provide proper education to the boys and girls who are residing at Jeevodaya.

Here, children come from different places (states), so we enrol them in the school according their mother tongue.

In the field of education every child should become capable of speaking, reading, writing & understanding languages and other subjects which are taught. It has been the effort of Jeevodaya to give the opportunity to study to the children in the past years. Many of these children do not like to study because of the street or vulnerable background from which they come. Infect quite a number of children come to Jeevodaya illiterate. Some of them face problems with languages others have a difficulty with being over age for their standard. Nevertheless they do make a tremendous effort to keep going to school and to keep studying. A major problem that we face is trying to keep the children in school. Quite a large number of them discontinue schooling and run away. Reasons are manifold, not the least among them being the difficulty to cope with the studies or the old attractions of the street.

In spite of these drawbacks Jeevodaya has made the decision to follow up our education policy better and continue to offer this important facility to all the boys and girls who join the Child Care Institution and thus empower them for life.
