Children Home Boys

The programme is running since the inception of Jeevodaya in 2001, is an acronym of Society for Protection and Advocacy of Railway Children. At present the programme provides shelter and education support to 35 boys. These children according to their eligibility and interests are provided with formal school education and are empowered with vocational training. Children are also provided with bridge and remedial courses to reintegrate them back to mainstream education system. Along with facilities like food, drinking water, clothes; the children are also given proper psycho-social counselling and are encouraged to handle their everyday chores themselves under the proper guidance of the house mother and the social worker. Electronically equipped the children are also taught in computers, and a spacious ground for extracurricular activities and sports are some of the facilities that the programme promises.
